Holmdel-based EXIT Realty East Coast expands its local expertise with an exciting new team member, long time Holmdel resident and dedicated philanthropist, Doreen DeMarco.

Doreen's career history includes being a buyer for Federated Department Stores, where she gained valuable knowledge and strategic insights about meeting consumer demands in an ever-changing marketplace. Her success was credited with prestigious and highly coveted national awards such as Bloomingdale's Buyer of the Year. EXIT is confident that Doreen's professional background combined with her depth of local knowledge and driven, yet approachable style will prove to be a winning combination for the EXIT team and ultimately, for the home buyer.

As a mother of three children each attending a different Holmdel school, Doreen understands, first hand, the tremendous value and benefits of the town's formidable academic program. Her buyer mentality however has taught her that to maintain educational excellence in this growing market, there is always a compelling need for new technologies, enhanced learning systems and awareness-based programs. As a result of that mentality, Doreen has made it a personal mission to drive fundraising initiatives that provide the resources necessary to fund and best achieve those program objectives. She has held key fundraising positions for the schools' parent groups and has served as Chair of the Holmdel Foundation for Educational Excellence. HFEE is an organization committed to raising the bar of education through grant programs and enhanced learning tools for World Language, the Arts, Literacy, Science, Technology and Athletics benefiting all district students.

Doreen insists that "Buying a new home should be an exciting and happy time in your life! When my husband, Eugene and I, bought our first home in Holmdel over 18 years ago, it was a big moment and a wonderful experience for us. Now, having built a home and having gained so much knowledge and experience within the Monmouth and Ocean County communities, I know I can help people make great choices based on their life stage, what they're looking for and what they need." said DeMarco.

Doreen also plays an active and ongoing role as a religious education teacher at St. Catharine's Church, one of Holmdel's fine churches and serves on the Women's Philanthropic Fund, a committee of the Meridian Health Foundation charged with the mission to educate women in Monmouth and Ocean counties about the importance of heart health and to raise funds for heart programs, services, and technology at Meridian Health.
