Dearborn Market Orchid Show Event to Benefit Children's Cancer Research

The fundraiser will take place on the third day of the 17th Annual Deep Cut Orchid Society Orchid Show.

Support children's cancer research while enjoying wine, cheese and beautiful orchids as Dearborn Market hosts its 5th Annual Evening to Benefit the Frances Foundation.

The event will take place on Saturday, Feb. 8, the third day of the 17th Annual Deep Cut Orchid Society Orchid Show hosted in Dearborn's garden center.

In addition to providing research funding, the Frances Foundation gives financial assistance to families of children battling cancer.

Admission to the event costs $40, with $25 of that going to the Frances Foundation. In addition, proceeds from orchid raffles will go to the group.

Members of the Deep Cut Orchid Society will be giving tours of the orchid displays throughout the event.

"We’ve been honored to work with the Frances Foundation since it was first established by the Heugle family of Holmdel, and have had the pleasure of producing several fundraising events with them in the past," Frank Luccarelli, president of Dearborn Market, said in a press release This is our fifth wine and cheese event to benefit this wonderful cause, and we’re hoping we can top last year’s proceeds.”
