Here’s a quick look at what’s going on in Holmdel and Hazlet this week.
- Township offices will be closed for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
- Head to the Hazlet Township Public Library on Tuesday, Dec. 31, to make a Wild Winter Craft. Open to children K through and up, this program begins at 4:15 p.m.
- Ring in the New Year with the Friends of Holmdel Open Space on a leisurely trail walk through the beautiful Ramanessin Section of Holmdel Park and Holmdel’s adjoining Bayonet Farm Park. Meet at the parking lot on Roberts Road, across from the Holmdel Park Arboretum and shown on the map provided by Monmouth County Parks. This free program is Wednesday, Jan. 1, at 10 a.m.
- Take a tour of the New Jersey Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial, at 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan 4.
