In Holmdel Soccer: The Boys Roll On And The Girls Fall To RBC

Boys Win! Girls Lose Vs. RBC

On a beautiful Friday afternoon at Dorbrook Park, the Holmdel Varsity Boys soundly beat Red Bank Catholic 4-0.  

The scoring was well balanced. Freshman Rohan Gandhi scored his first high school goal with a beautiful header off a corner kick from EJ Carranante. Senior, Zach Bond made it 2-0 on a penalty kick, followed by goals by senior, EJ Carranante and junior, Jason Kyriacou.  

Mitch Walier had another shut out and is perfect in the teams four games this season.

The team had strong contributions from Dylan Chapman and Jack Flanagan.

Holmdel is now 4-0.  Their next game is Tuesday at home versus Manasquan at 6:30 p.m under the lights at Roggy Field.  See you there.

The Holmdel Varsity Girls fell to 3-2 with a disappointing loss to Red Bank Catholic on Friday night at Roggy Field.  

Shannon Wall scored the only Holmdel goal in the 3-1 loss.  

A large crowd turned out to support the girls including many of the players from the boys Varsity and JV soccer teams.

The girls next game is away against Manasquan, Tuesday at 3:45.
