South Laurel Ave Construction Continues
Everything you need to know this week in Holmdel and Hazlet.
South Laurel Ave
Construction on South Laurel Ave will continue today and Tuesday in Hazlet, after a delay in the work last week.
Hazlet Police reported last week that the road construction will continue until at least Tuesday, Aug. 26, and residents should expect delays in the area.
Shorelands Water Company will close the road from Sidney Terrace to Hopkins Terrace from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day, detours will be set up in the area.
Smores BBQ
Dearborn Market in Holmdel is holding a fun-filled Smores event on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. No reservations necessary, come one come all!
It's a $10 entry, and guests can enjoy The Little Rockers Band.
School festival complete with fireworks
The St. Benedict Church annual school festival will be held on Labor Day Weekend, Aug. 30 through Sept. 1.
The Festival will have thrill rides and children’s rides from Ace Carnival. There will be your traditional family fun trailer games offering prizes along with organized children’s activities, live entertainment and a spectacular fireworks show by Garden State Pyrotechnics on Saturday night, Aug. 31 that is not to be missed.
