HYAA Volunteer Award Given to Chris Briamonte

A fairly new face has already made a positive difference in the Holmdel youth league.

Chris Briamonte was honored at Holmdel Community Day for his handling of  some of the day-to-day operations for both basketball and softball leagues in the Holmdel Youth Activities Association.

Briamonte is a commissioner for both sports and takes his volunteerism quite seriously, said HYAA President Gerald DiMaso.

"Chris started out by coming to the HYAA meetings and voicing his concerns regarding some of the current programs," said DiMaso. "Instead of just complaining about them, he decided to get involved and has made quite a difference in the quality of HYAA's sports programs."
