Holmdel Hornet Report: Powder Puff, Pep Rally, Pie-Eating, Sports and Sandy

The Holmdel High School Television and Film Society produces polished reports about life on campus.

Take a look at life at Holmdel High through the lens of the Holmdel High School Television and Film Society.

In this entertaining report posted Dec. 4, we see the girls' annual Powder Puff flag football game (featuring boy cheerleaders dancing 'Gangam Style') the Pep Rally with tug-of-war and pie-eating contest, an interview with the football coach about the team's win over rivals Raritan High, an update on the winning cross country runners, and thoughts from Holmdel students about those affected by Hurricane Sandy.

The report is produced by students under the guidance of newly-hired TV Broadcasting Teacher Bryan DeNovellis, who has 15 years of experience in television broadcasting/media and journalism and was the former Sports Director and anchor at News 12 New Jersey.
