Hazlet Schools Adjust Calendar After Hurricane Sandy
Last day for students is now Monday, June 24.
The Hazlet Township School Board has revised its school calendar due to disruptions from Hurricane Sandy.
The last half-day for students is Monday, June 24. For teachers, the last day is Tuesday, June 25.
Two holidays have been added back into the calendar. Students will now attend school on Martin Luther King Day on Monday, Jan. 21 and Presidents Day, Monday Feb. 18.

There are no emergency days built into the calendar. Any snow days that occur going forward will be tacked onto the end of the school year.
The board voted to approve the plan after closed session at the Nov. 19 public meeting.
