Hazlet BOE to Interview Potential members

Hazlet Township Board of Education plans to interview eight candidates seeking to fill an empty seat on the school board in January.

According to Superintendent Bernard Bragen, 8 people have applied to fill a vacancy left after Glenn Mason decided to not fill the seat.

Mason won a three-year term to the school board in November, but turned down the position because he had just been hired by the school district as a part-time security officer
