Social Action Breakfast

Peter Montague of the N.J. Environmental Justice Alliance will discuss PurGen, the coal/chemical plant and carbon dioxide storage project proposed for Linden, NJ at a breakfast sponsored by the Temple Shalom Social Action committee.

SCS, the company building the plant, states that it will be producing virtually carbon-free electricity while permanently and safely storing greenhouse gases.  Others see this as a new frontier of dumping and worry about environmental issues.

Join us to hear about this Environmental Justice topic. This event is free and open to all.
