Testimony on a 48-unit development off Poole Avenue was expected to continue before the Hazlet Planning Board Thursday night, however the meeting was canceled.
Elegant Properties LLC is seeking site plan approval for a townhouse development on 4.5 acres of undeveloped land at 780 Poole Avenue. The parcel is next to the Walgreens on Route 36.
The plans call for four three-story buildings housing the 48 one-, two- and three-bedroom units. The units range in size from 778 square feet for the one-bedroom, 1,492 square feet for the 2-bedrooms, to 1,597 square feet for the three-bedrooms.
The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Hazlet Planning Board is Thursday, April 4 at 7:30 p.m. at the Hazlet Township Municipal Building. An agenda for that meeting has not yet been posted and it was not immediately clear if testimony on the Elegant Properties LLC project would continue at that time.
