On April 30, the police will collect unwanted prescription and over the counter drugs at Town Hall, at 4 Crawfords Corner Rd. "Operation: Take Back New Jersey" will be held on Saturday, April 30 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Residents will be able to anonymously drop off medications in a special box at Town Hall. A member of the police department will be present, but residents are not required to show any identification.
The medications can be disposed of in their original containers, or by dropping pills directly into the box. Liquids should be disposed of in their tightly sealed containers. Be aware that prescription bottles contain personal information on the labels. The police recommend you remove identifying labels.

Syringes and other sharp objects will not be accepted.
The program is spearheaded by the Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA) New Jersey Division, the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police, the NY/NJ HIDTA, and the New Jersey National Guard.
