Beers Street to Close for One Day in Hazlet

Drivers will have to find a different way around on June 25, as NJ Transit resurfaces the railroad crossing at Beers Street in Hazlet.

The resurfacing is a routine measure by the company in order to allow cars to go over the tracks more smoothly, according to transit officials.

This will be a one-day closure, weather permitting. Drivers will have the option drive Hazlet Ave, Holmdel Road or Bethany Road during road work.

Road closure signs and schedule signs are posted at the Beers Street site.
