Two Arrested for Allegedly Burglarizing Car in Hazlet

Both Garner and O'Donnell are charged with two counts of burglary and one count of conspiracy to commit burglary.

Two men were arrested in Hazlet on Friday after allegedly burglarizing a car in Hazlet Township, according to police.

Michael Garner, 22, of Garfield and Cody O'Donnell, 20, of Keyport allegedly entered a vehicle without permission with the intent to burglarize it, police said. 

Both Garner and O'Donnell are charged with two counts of burglary and one count of conspiracy to commit burglary. 

Garner and O'Donnell are being held in the Monmouth County Jail in lieu of $30,000 bail each. Garner is also being held on a detainer from Bergen County.
