Three Indicted for Thanksgiving Day Car Burglaries in Holmdel

Trio set out to steal money from unlocked vehicles, police say.

A Monmouth County grand jury has determined that three young people should stand trial for allegedly burglarizing cars on Agostina Drive, off Laurel Avenue, in Holmdel early on Thanksgiving Day.

Julian Buccos, 18, of Keansburg, Paige Gaglianese, 19, of Union and Anthony Hoff, 18, of Keansburg face single counts of burglary, attemped burglary and conspiracy for their alleged actions on Nov. 24, 2011.

The Grand Jury does not determine guilt or innocence.

According to the Feb. 16 indictment, the trio acted on a plan to drive to the area of Agostina Drive, check cars and enter the unlocked ones to steal money. Holmdel Police caught them with a wallet and a GPS unit.

A resident, returning home from work at 4 a.m., found their presence suspicious and called Holmdel Police.
