Police Blotter: Alleged Theft of 1977 Cadillac; DWI arrests

  • April 14:  Robert Snover, 36, Keansburg was arrested and charged with for unlawful taking of a means of conveyance and driving while suspended as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Laurel Avenue. Investigation revealed the vehicle Snover was operating, a 1977 Cadillac was taken from the Helfrich Bus Company lot on Laurel Avenue in Hazlet NJ. Snover was transported to HQ for processing and turned over to Hazlet Police Department for further investigation regarding Burglary and theft charges from their jurisdiction. Bail in Holmdel was set at $15,000 by Holmdel Deputy Court Administrator Cathy Dunne.
  • April 15:  Claude Persico, 39, Manalapan NJ for DWI as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Galloping Hill Road. 
  • April 16: Leonor Kipper, 32, Keansburg NJ for DWI as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Palmer Avenue.
