Nintendo Wii Game System Reported Stolen

That, along with a bunch of remotes and video games.

Its the mysterious case of the video game thief.

Last Thursday, Holmdel Police were called to a residence on Dogwood Court to investigate a reported burglary and theft.

Holmdel Police Officer Theodore Sigismondi responded to 229 Dogwood Court -- a neighborhood at Route 35 and Laurel Avenue -- for a reported burglary and theft.

Investigation at the scene revealed that there was no forced entry into the residence. However, the homeowner reported that somebody had stolen a Nintendo Wii game system, four remote controls and approximately 20 video games.

Det. Eric Hernando is continuing the investigation.
