Two workers are Medevac'd to the hospital.

A fiberglass pool being lowered into the ground at a residence in Manalapan came loose from one of its straps and fell on two workers around 11:30 a.m. Thursday, according to Capt. Chris Marsala of the Manalapan Police Dept.

A 25 year-old male from Howell and a 38 year-old male from Point Pleasant were injured when the pool fell on them at 12 Regal Road, Manalapan. After a crane lifted the pool off the men, they were taken to Manalapan Recreation Center where a NorthSTAR Medevac and MONOC Medevac helicopter transported them to the Robert Wood Johnson hospital.

"They had a machine on site that they were working with, so that machine lifted [the pool] off of them," Marsala said.
