Holmdel Police Blotter: Feb. 13-18

The following arrest information was supplied by the Holmdel Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Arrest records released by the Holmdel Police Dept. on Feb. 17, 2012.

  • Feb. 13: The Holmdel Police responded to Care One Nursing Home on Hwy 34 for a report of a crack pipe found in a resident's bed. Upon arrival Ptl. Thomas Struble gathered all the necessary information. His investigation revealed that the resident Catherine Joyce of 378 Atlantic Ave. Keyport who is a patient at the facility was in possession of the crack pipe. She was subsequently charged with possession of drug paraphernalia pending court date of February 29.
  • Feb. 19: Holmdel Police responded to a suspicious vehicle on Hidden Pond Lane called in by a resident. Upon arrival it was determined that the passenger of the vehicle Melissa Martin was found to have an active warrant out of Keyport for $469. Further investigation revealed Martin to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and synthetic marijuana. She was transported to HQ for processing and released pending court.
  • Feb. 18: Police responded to a report of a hit and run accident on Laurel Ave by Middle Road. Investigation at the scene by Ptl. John Maguire revealed that the operator of the hit and run vehicle failed to yield to a vehicle on Laurel Ave operated by Thomas Delahanty of Middletown. There were no injuries and the hit and run vehicle is described as an older blue pickup truck which should have driver’s side damage.
