Obituary: John F. Postorino, 78, of Hazlet

John F. Postorino, 78, of Hazlet, NJ, went home to be with the Lord, while being surrounded by family and friends, on January 3, 2013. He was Born in Brooklyn, NY and moved to NJ many years ago. John worked as a salesman for CMS Mid-Atlantic based out of Hollywood Memorial Park in Union, NJ. He enjoyed cooking, gardening, taking music lessons, playing guitar, deep sea fishing with his children, being in the family pool, and playing with his dogs Munchie and Sassy Girl.

Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Judi DeLeon Postorino; his daughter, Donna Matos; his two sons, John and his wife Nataliya Postorino, and Robert Postorino; his two step-sons Dr. Brian and his wife Dr. Janet Eig and Jonathan and his wife Kelly Eig; his grandchildren Rene' and his wife Elaine Matos, Leticia Matos, Josie Postorino, Robert Postorino Jr., Marie Postorino, and Aidan Eig; his sister, Anne "Babe" Trinca; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Dominic and Maria Postorino, his brother, Peter Postorino, and his sisters, Angie Mistretta and Katie Kalya.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 6 from 5 to 9 pm at the John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, January 7 at 8:30 am at the funeral home. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered Monday, January 7 at 9:30 am at Holy Family RC Church, 727 Hwy 36, Hazlet. Entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park Mausoleum, Union.
