Obituary: Cecilia M. Schultz, 79, of Holmdel and Middletown

Cecilia M. Schultz, 79, of Holmdel, died Sunday, October 14, 2012 at home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Elizabeth, NJ. and lived in Middletown  for twenty-eight years.  After graduating from Battan High School, Elizabeth, Cecilia worked as an administrative assistant for Western Electric in Jersey City, NJ and later at the office of Dr's.Cantor, Iwamaye and Farber, Middletown.

Cecilia was very active in St. Mary's Parish, New Monmouth.  She was an Adorer at St. Mary's Adoration Chapel, a member of the Sweet Adelines and the Red Hat Society.  She loved to travel, bowl,  go to the movies and spend time with her family and friends playing cards.

Surviving are her husband Otto Schultz of FL, 2 sons; Mark and wife Katie Schultz of New York, NY, Paul Schultz of California; granddaughter Caroline; brother Leon Filipski of Nevada.

Cecilia was preceded in death by her daughter, Diane Schultz 1991.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 16, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown.  Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, October 17, at 9:15 am at the funeral home.  A Funeral Liturgy will be offered at 10:30 am at St. Mary's Chapel, 26 Leondardville Rd., New Monmouth. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Middletown.
