Longtime Holmdel Resident Mary DePalma Dies at 86

Mary DePalma was a member of the Holy Family Senior Club and retired from the Hazlet Township Board of Education

Mary DePalma, 86, of Tinton Falls, New Jersey, died Friday, Jan. 31 at Bayshore Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in Holmdel, New Jersey.

Mary was born on July 10, 1927 in Brooklyn, New York and lived most of her life in Holmdel, New Jersey. She attended and graduated Keyport High School. She was a member of the Holy Family Senior Club and retired from the Hazlet Township Board of Education.

She was predeceased by her parents, Andrew and Philomena (Muccio) DePalma and her brothers, Frank and Michael DePalma. Mary is survived by her dear sisters and brothers, Carolina Juettner of Tinton Falls, New Jersey, Patrick DePalma and his wife Rosemarie of Hazlet, New Jersey, Phillip DePalma of Cliffwood, New Jersey, Lucy Rossi and her husband Hendrick of Hazlet, New Jersey, Rosemarie Prendergast and her husband James of Keyport, New Jersey, Virginia DePalma of Tinton Falls, New Jersey, Theresa Setowsky and her husband Max of Holmdel, New Jersey, Andrew DePalma of Tinton Falls, New Jersey and Diana Wesley and her husband John of Jackson, New Jersey, along with many cherished nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.

Interment was at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 100 Chapel Hill Road, Middletown, New Jersey.
