Former Holmdel BOE Employee Adeline 'Eva' Bailey Dies at 94

Adeline "Eva" Bailey died at home on Wednesday. She was born June 11, 1919 in Hazlet to W. Pierson Dean and Adeline Hertle Dean.

She was a graduate of Keyport High School in 1936.

Prior to her retirement in 1986, she was Assistant Transportation Coordinator for Holmdel Board of Education.

Predeceased by her husband Augustus M. Bailey in 2002, she is survived by her loving daughters Adele Bailey, Holmdel; Susan Bailey, Hillsborough; Kathy Bailey, Holmdel; Sharon Ann Beceiro, Matawan; her cherished grandsons Christopher and Brian Allen; her brother and sister in law Walter P. and Jean Dean; and by her nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 – South Holmdel Road, Holmdel on Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be offered at the Funeral Home on Saturday morning at 10 a.m. Interment will then follow at the Cedarwood Cemetery, Hazlet.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Holmdel First Aid Squad, P.O.Box 171, Holmdel, N.J. 07733, or to the Holmdel Police Department, 4 – Crawfords Corner Road, Holmdel, N.J. 07733
