Handcrafted Finds at the Sunday Flea Market in Keyport

Flea market finds-handmade and handcrafted goods in Keyport

Toys, clothes, tools and tchotchkes can be found at a flea market, but did you know that you can find handmade and handcrafted goods as well?

At Keyport flea market visitors and vendors get a beautiful view of the Raritan Bay while they shop. The market is located at Fireman's Park on the corner of W. Front St and American Legion Drive. The hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM  open every Sunday, from May through November. Vendor fees go to support the Kiwanis Club of Keyport, Inc.

Many vendors are handcrafters and artisans displaying everything from homemade doggie treats to hand painted "Keyport" themed Christmas Balls. I found a handmade pachwork and bag for only $10.00! What a steal! An amazing metal worker hand shapes beautiful rings and earrings. I love hunting treasures that are are displayed on large tarps and sifting though old crates of L.P's.  Not all vendors are artisans, you can find beautiful plants, flowers, and vegetable plants. You can even smell the basil from two rows away! A few small buiness owners set up booths with free giveaways and coupons, and free crafts for kids.
