Soap Fans: 'Make It Real' with Brian Gaskill

Soap star and Monmouth County native Brian Gaskill has returned home to work with the Garden State Players theater group as education director and instructor at the GSP’s new summer theater camp. Brian is known best from his roles on "Guiding Light," "As the World Turns," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "Port Charles"and "All My Children." He is currently starring in the webisoap, "The Bay: Dark Side of the Bay," airing worldwide this summer.

To welcome the summer, Brian, Garden State Players and Trinity restaurant, 84 Broad St., Keyport, NJ, will host “MAKE IT REAL,” a fundraiser for Garden State Players, on Monday, June 4.

Brian will read works from his original spoken-word poetry album, “Make It Real.” Singer, songwriter and acoustic guitarist George Wirth will also perform. Attendees are welcome to bring original poetry for a chance to take the stage with Brian.

Tickets are $25 for the show only and $55 for a three-course-dinner and the show. A free meet-and-greet after the show is included. Dinner seatings are at 6 and 6:30 p.m. and the show will start promptly at 7:30 p.m.
