Week Ahead: Train With NFL Pros

Read to the dogs at the Holmdel Library today at 4:15 p.m., a program which helps kids grades k-2 with the skills to read out loud.

Win a football-shaped BBQ and two tickets to train with the NFL pros, all while benefiting the disabled preschools class at Village School. Raffle tickets are available at Eyes First in Middletown, and will be drawn at the end of April. 

Join Dearborn Market for a Homemade pasta workshop on Wednesday and learn to make your own pasta from scratch. $25 per person. Registration is required and space is limited. Call the store at 732-264-0256 or register online here.

The Holmdel Kiwanis is meeting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the Ruby Palace Restaurant.

Bring your new puppy to the Holmdel Community Center on Saturday at 9 a.m. for Puppy Training 101. This is the second training class, the first qith dogs.  Pre-registration and attendance of orientation are required.

In Hazlet

This is the last week for food for fines at the Hazlet Library. Erase one dollar in fines for every non-perishable food item you bring to the library to donate to The FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties.

The planning board is meeting on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in Town Hall.

The township wide garage sale is on Saturday at 9 a.m. If you would like your address added to the Garage Sale Map, submit your application and $10 payment to Hazlet Recreation, 1776 Union Avenue, Hazlet, NJ 07730 or drop it off in the drop box across from the Cullen Center.
