Middle Road Barnes & Noble Book Fair

Come out and support the Middle Road School's annual summer reading Bookfair Fundraiser at Barnes & Noble. From open to close, remember to drop on by and let your cashier know you are here supporting Middle Road Elementary School and they receive a portion of that day's proceeds. 

Hazlet Board of Education Meeting

The Hazlet Township Board of Education will meet at 7 p.m. at Raritan High School for their regular action meeting.

NJ Vietnam Veterans' Remembrance Day

The New Jersey Vietnam Veterans' Memorial, dedicated May 7, 1995, strives to encourage and foster patriotism and provide for recognition of the sacrifices, courage and valor of the New Jersey veterans of the Vietnam era. 

St. Benedict Barnes & Noble Book Fair

Join St. Benedict for their Barnes & Noble Book Fair Fundraiser on May 7.  Support your local schools and pick up a great read or stop by the cafe for a coffee. Remember to tell your cashier that you are with St. Benedict School and they receive a portion of that day's sales. 

Holmdel Township Committee Meeting

The Holmdel Township Committee will meet at town hall on Tuesday for a regular action meeting. The meeting is open to the public.

Hazlet Township Committee Meeting

The Hazlet Township Committee will meet at the municipal building at 1766 Union Avenue. Starting at 7 p.m., the committee may hold workshop meetings and executive sessions.

Wednesday, May 8 

Audition for 'A Midsummer Nights Dream' 

The Holmdel Theatre Company announces auditions for its production of A Misummer Night's Dream. Several performers are needed, both female and male, ranging in age, including some middle school to high school aged performers. Those auditioning need attend only one of the regular audition dates. Monologues are welcome but not required. No pre-registration is required. Audition sides from the script will be provided.

Hazlet Fire Commissioners' Public Meeting

The Hazlet Fire Commissioners' meetings are held at the second Wednesday of the month in Town Hall and are open to the public. Members of the board are currently comprised of the Hazlet Fire Co. 1, North Centerville Company and West Keansburg companies.

Blooming Vases Workshop at Dearborn

Create your own arrangement using techniques inspired by The Little Flower School in Brooklyn, where unique and multi-dimensional bouquets take precedent! Enjoy tea and scones during the demonstration so bring your mother or daughter for a lovely afternoon experience.

Recycled Used Sports Equipment Sale 

The Go Green Team of the Satz School PSG is sponsoring a used sports equipment sale on Friday May 10 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the W.R. SatzSchool Cafeteria, rear entrance.
