Holmdel Youth Lacrosse Sign-Ups

Registration for the upcoming HYAA 2013 lacrosse season for boys and girls grades K-8 are now being accepted in the HYAA office and by using the online form (credit card required). Registrations received after Feb. 28 will be subject to a $50 late fee. Go to HYAA.ORG to register. Lacrosse will be scheduled around baseball to avoid conflicting schedules.

Monmouth County Greentable Meets To Discuss Park Trails

Monmouth County’s first Greentable meeting for 2013 will be held from 8:15 to 10:15 a.m. on Feb. 5 in the Visitor Center at Thompson Park, 805 Newman Springs Road. The meeting will provide Monmouth County residents and municipal officials with an overview of the Monmouth County Park System’s trail system and cover the timely topics of storm damage, public awareness and trail access.

Protecting Yourself in the New Digital Era

The New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners (NJAWBO) Shore Region invites you to join them February 5, 2013, 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., for their next breakfast event at the Microsoft Store in Freehold. Microsoft's staff will present a workshop featuring crucial information that everyone can use, whether you're using your computer for personal or business matters.

Hazlet Youth Baseball & Softball Registration, 7 p.m.

Registration for the Hazlet Hawks will take place on February 5 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Raritan High School. Registration costs $115. 

Hazlet Township Committee Meeting, 7 p.m.

The Hazlet Township Committee will meet at the municipal building at 1766 Union Avenue. Starting at 7 p.m., the committee may hold workshop meetings and executive sessions. Starting at 8 p.m., the committee will hold their regular action meetings.

Holmdel Township Committee Meeting, 7 p.m.

The Holmdel Township Committee will meet at the municipal building at 4 Crawfords Corner. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m.

2013 Progressive Insurance Atlantic City Boat Show

The 2013 Progressive Insurance Atlantic City Boat Show makes a splash at the Atlantic City Convention Center, February 6-10, with sales the newest boats and accessories, plus new fun and education for boaters of all ages and experience levels. 

Holmdel Fire Rescue Company #2 Meeting, 6:45 p.m.

The Holmdel Fire Rescue Company #2 would like to invite the public to its monthly business meetings. For the first 15 minutes of each meeting, the fire company would like to welcome comments, questions, and concerns that the residents of Holmdel may have. If you are interested in learning about the company’s budget, operations, or volunteer opportunities, then come by. Meetings start at 6:45 p.m.

Holmdel Zoning Board of Adjustment, 8 p.m.

The Holmdel Zoning Board of Adjustment will meet at the municipal building at 4 Crawfords Corner. The meeting will begin at 8 p.m.

Dearborn Hosts 16th Annual Deep Cut Society Orchid Show

Dearborn Market is thrilled to be hosting representatives from the Deep Cut Orchid Society and other local commercial orchid growers from the tri-state area again this year. Members will be presenting beautiful landscaped exhibits using many unique orchid species. Orchid growers will also be selling plants throughout the show. 

Toddler Storytimes at Hazlet Township Library, 10:30 a.m.

Enjoy storytime for children ages two to three and a half years old. The child's parent or guardian must attend the storytime. 

Preschool Storytime and Craft at Holmdel Township Library, 10:30 a.m.

Enjoy storytime and a craft for children of all ages throughout the day each Thursday. Children ages four to five are welcome at 10:30 a.m., children ages three to four are welcome at 11:15 a.m.and children ages three and a half through five are welcome on Mondays or Thursdays at 2 p.m.
