The Route 36 building housing the Shore Cafe recently went on the market with a $1,299,000 asking price.
But patrons of the popular Italian eatery need not worry--the restaurant will remain open for business.
An employee answering calls at the Shore Cafe said there are no plans to close the restaurant and that the ownership is exploring the market and seeing if potential partnership opportunities are available.
The listing, which went up on March 4 with Gloria Nilson & Co. as the listing agent, notes that any sale would come with the restaurant's liquor license.
The Shore Cafe is owned and operated by the Conti family.
