Overview: Located just over the Holmdel border in Lincroft, The Sunnyside Market has been a favorite breakfast and lunch destination of locals for decades. 

Decor:  Sunnyside Market looks pretty much the same as it did 25 years ago when I grew up in Holmdel, but we called it "Sunnyside Deli."  The shop is filled with delicious homemade food for breakfast, lunch and now dinner.  Sunnyside Market's focus is on homemade food.

The Drinks:   Sunnyside Market offers soft drinks and coffee.

Entrees:  Sunnyside Market has an abundant sandwich and sub menu for lunch as well as offering some hot food selections. Subs and sandwiches are made to order and come in a variety of combinations. The Cappy and Cheese was a large sandwich filled with fresh sliced Capicola Ham and your choice of cheese ($7.95). The Chicken, Tuna and Egg salad are made fresh daily and often sell out before the lunch rush kicks in. The Sunnyside also serves breakfast serving traditional breakfast items such as Bacon, Egg and Cheese on a Hard Roll or a Jersey favorite Pork Roll, Egg and Cheese on a Hard Roll. 

Desserts:  Sunnyside Market has a variety of sweets to offer, Black and White Cookies and homemade Crumb Cake are favorites.

Service:  Sunnyside Market is a self serve place.  The boards above the counter list the sandwiches and specials and you order from the register.  I love that the person running the register then shouts your order to the person who is making it! 

Signature Dish:  The Sunnyside makes their Chicken Salad every day and it often does not make it through the lunch rush!
