Rewind. Replay. Enjoy James Livengood's Violin Solo at Holmdel HS Graduation

Living In Holmdel magazine interviewed the recent graduate in their fall issue. Livengood spoke about this special moment, which you can see and hear on Holmdel Patch.

In an interview published in the Early Fall 2011 edition of Living In Holmdel magazine, recent Holmdel High School graduate James Livengood discusses how his longtime study of violin and passion for high school football shaped who he is today.

Last June, Livengood electrified the school graduation ceremony in June with a violin serenade that evoked humor, bittersweet memories and jubilation. As Student Advisory Board President he could have delivered at traditional speech, but instead he offered this music instead. It brought his 275 classmates to their feet in a roaring ovation.

In the interview with writer Tobi T. Tesoriero, Livengood said that moment meant so much to him. "It was more special to me than any standing ovation at Lincoln Center," he said.
