It's a Hit for Holmdel Theatre Company

"Inherit the Wind" continues to pack the house and wow critics at the Duncan Smith Theater, in Holmdel. Tickets for this weekend's performances are still available.

Holmdel Theater Company's production of "Inherit the Wind" continues its successful run tonight at the Duncan Smith Theater, 36 Crawfords Corner Road in Holmdel.  Shows this weekend begin at 8 p.m. tonight and 2 p.m. on Sunday.  Tickets are still available.

This quintessential courtroom drama is based on the infamous Scopes Monkey Trial of 1925. The masterful production will leave you on the edge of your seat as the drama unfolds, pitting the forces of Creationism and Evolution against each other in a court of law, putting the concept of intellectual freedom on trial. The results are explosive and provocative.

"[HTC] is one of the most exciting semi-pro stage troupes in New Jersey," writes Critic Tom Chesek of the Asbury Park Press in his recent review

Philip Dorian, of Scene on Stage declares Tom Frascatore’s direction "at once unobtrusive and commanding in terms of both characterization and staging." The cast and company "plumb [the play's] depth without expanding its width."
