It's no secret to Holmdel residents that Holmdel Park has the best hills around.
In an attempt to remind us all that snow can be fun, New York news station CBS compiled a list of the best places to go sledding in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut and Holmdel Park made the list.
According to the CBS article:
A favorite with New Jersey parents, Holmdel Park offers a lot to love. The hill is safe for children because it is both free from obstacles and it is also grassy underneath. To top everything off, there is a warming area with a fire blazing where you can take a break and grab some hot cocoa before heading out again.
Holmdel Park was the only NJ location to make the list of six.
Cross-country trails are open at Holmdel Park, conditions permitting. Ice skating is also permitted if "skating today" signs are up near the ice. The Monmouth County Parks website has rental prices, park hours and more.
