VIDEO: A Rumson Family's Ties in The Pipes and Drums of the Atlantic Watch

In Sunday's parade at Lake Como and Belmar, several members of one Rumson family will play music in the renowned Highland drumming band

Sprinkled among the  60 members of the powerful Atlantic Watch Drums and Pipes Band  marching in Belmar and Lake Como's famous St. Patrick's Day Parade Sunday will be musicians from all kinds of backgrounds -- and some who come from the same family.

They all come together in unity when the band plays traditional Scottish music at parades, festivals and community events.

Susan Boyce of Rumson is the proud mother of five musicians who play with the Red Bank-based band.

The family tradition started when Kevin Stone, Susan's husband, joined the band 12 years ago. His son Corey, 22, and his stepdaughter Eleanor, 18, decided they wanted to learn how to play the bag pipes as well. Three years ago, his stepson William, 16,  joined the band as a bass drummer. This year the band will add two more members of the family. Twins Maggie and Lizzie, 12, will play the drums with the band for the first time at the Belmar Parade this Sunday.
