2012 Community Excellence Award Finalists Announced by Holmdel Journal

The nominees for the 2012 Holmdel Journal Community Excellence Awards Program have been announced in the January edition of the Journal.

This year a new category -- Unsung Hero of the Year -- has been added to the list. Dropped for insufficient nominations was Business of the Year and Healthcare Professional of the Year, according to the Journal.

The winners will be announced at a reception on Feb. 13. See the Holmdel Journal page 38-41 to learn more about the individuals nominated.

UNSUNG HERO OF THE YEAR

Custodial Staff at Holmdel High School, Kiwanis Club of Holmdel, Bridges Outreach Program's Kathy Logan, Community Outreach Group organizer Janice Liebenow and CEO of United Way of Monmouth County Timothy Hearne.
