Village School Gets Greener

Frank Bacchus, Vice Chairman of Holmdel's Green Team, had some good news to share at that groups meeting on Monday.  Chartwells, the food service provider for the school district has agreed to provide compostable trays in place of the styrofoam ones previously used. This will bring our town one step closer to eliminating single-use plastic items.  

The new arrangement was made by Bill Gerichter from Edvocate, who negotiates the contract with Chartwells.
