Holmdel Helps- Flowers for Keansburg Mothers
The residents of Holmdel have once again stepped up to support the 2nd Holmdel Helps out reach with Keansburg. Our Holmdel Helps team, currently being led by Committeeman Joe Ponisi had the idea to tie our annual Mothers Day flower sale with an opportunity for our residents to donate flowers to the Mothers in Keansburg.
Darlene Kiss from the PSA at Village School did a wonderful job of meeting with our local landscaping companies and she was able to make a wonderful arrangement with DePalma Landscaping. The children were able to buy a flower for $1.00, decorate a Holmdel Helps label that will be attached to the actual flower pots. Darlene was hoping to sell 360 flowers at Holmdel Community Day last Saturday and our kids bought a total of 377 flowers to be handed out!

Altruism at it’s best! How wonderful it will be for the 350 plus students at the Port Monmouth Road School in Keansburg to take home lovely wave petunias and bring some beautiful color into their homes.
Holmdel Helps is committed to helping our neighboring town long term. It is a privilege for our team to work on these events together and we will keep you informed as we proceed onto our next venture. The additional members of the team are: Georgette Nelson, Allison Fleck, Officer Tom Foley, Committeeman Tom Critelli and of course our Mayor Pat Impreveduto.
