Maria has a background in psychology and clinical social work and nearly 10 years of experience in the social work field. A licensed clinical social worker, Maria has devoted her career to helping new parents and babies make the most of their first moments together. She is an experienced psychotherapist, who has worked with children and adults, providing individual, family, and group therapy. She has also worked as a school counselor, providing individual and group counseling to children. One of her main duties was educating parents about their children’s social-emotional development and offering evidence-based solutions to increasing children’s positive behaviors.
