ReplyI've seen quite a few homes like these in my neighborhood. Its starting to see. Its great they are able to do something to preserve their homes from future floods but sad that the landscape we once knew is gone forever. And even sadder to think of all the families that lost their homes to this storm.

ReplyMs. Marchitto is one smart lady. Goes to show you - you can't trust anyone under any circumstances. Always- be careful. The autorities were completely at fault. You have a guy like that lurking around interacting with people and NO ONE checked him out? How nieve. We live in a world where you can't trust anyone. You have to look out for yourself because no one else will. Its a shame but that's the screwed up world we live in these days. People will take advantage of vulnerable victims.

ReplyVery scary. You can't even go shopping without being afraid of being attacked. There is no place to feel safe any more- not school, not shopping , not with religious leaders, not with boy scouts. You cant trust anyone. Terrible. What a shame.

ReplyI do not know this family, but My heart goes out to the family and friends of this young man lost way too soon. No loss is more great than the loss of a child. May God be with you all and keep you strong.

ReplyMonsters like this can never be repaired. They need to be tatooed on their foreheads with a giant letter "P" to let everyone know he/she abuses children and to stay away. Like a scarlet letter that can never be removed.

ReplyIncidents like this happen way too often. I had a similar situation last year. A man was driving fast thru the Holmdel Commons shopping center and when he saw me look annnoyed at his driving and almost hitting me, he got out and started pounding on my car and cursing at me. It wasn't until witnesses came and started shouting at the man that they called the police that he finally got in his car and drove off. Lucky for me I was unharmed but quite shaken. Road rage is a very real and dangerous thing. There should be more security in the parking lots especially during the holiday season.

ReplyI am a Keansburg resident and I have many friends and family members who want to donate money to the cause. Who do we write the checks out to if we want to donate to St. Marks?
