Holly Garguilo, Neighbor

Holly Garguilo currently teaches research writing classes at Brookdale Community College, and is a freelance proofreader. She formerly served as managing editor of the Brooklyn Baron newspaper, worked as a writer for Executive Media Corporation's trade magazines,  and wrote freelance articles on topics such as sterotactic radiosurgery for cancer patients and a profile on former New York Yankee Joe Pepitone. She taught English classes in New York as well.

She earned her MA and BA in Journalism from New York University. Journalism was an easy choice for her, because it combined her love of writing with the opportunity to interview different people and learn new things every day. 

She currently resides in Hazlet with her husband and two children.
