On the article Girl Found Safe After Joint Base Search

ReplyWe ran the original story about her being reported missing on multiple Patch sites because when young people go missing, they could be anywhere and sometimes, when the weather is getting a bit warmer, they head towards the Shore. I just looked to see if media in the area where she was found did a more updated story, and found this updated 6 hours ago. Looks like she ran away, although the media outlet could not get definitive confirmation of that. http://m.phillyburbs.com/news/local/breaking-missing-girl-found-safe/article_88289b0e-5b98-5f5b-b1d6-848e2362a6f9.html?mode=jqm

ReplyI have been assigned to write a reaction story, which means I am trying to reach Wall officials and residents to quote about how they feel about this news about Brower. If you would like to be briefly interviewed for that story, please email me at denise.distephan@patch.com with "Brower" in subject line. But you need to be willing to use your real name on the record and have your quotes appearing in multiple Patch sites. Thank you.

ReplyInfo. from US Attorney's office (and I also added this to story): "The investigation is continuing and charges may be brought against any additional people. Also, as referenced in the complaint, in addition to Breihof and Dailey, two physicians who were bribed by BLS have been cooperating with the investigation and have agreed to plead guilty. (Don’t know when the doctors are pleading at this point, so they’re not being identified until they have their plea hearings.)"

ReplyThey were not mentioned in the article because we do not know who they are because their names were not provided by the US Attorney's office. We got the press release and the two complaints attached here. We have not withheld any information. If the US Attorney's office releases additional info., we will post it.

ReplyAs reported in earlier articles, that section of boardwalk by police sub-station will go out to bid in the fall. Meanwhile, it is considered safe to walk on, which is why town is saying that the entire stretch of boardwalk will be ready by Memorial Day weekend because folks will be able to walk end to end. Trex is being used to replace damaged sections.
