Bill Heller is President of the Union Beach Environmental Trust, a nonprofit corporation not affiliated with the Borough. He strongly opposes the Bayshore Regional Sewerage Authority's attempt to erect a 38-story industrial wind turbine with blades each the size of a cell tower just a little over a thousand feet from homes in Union Beach. He also created www.noturbine.com to help in that effort. 

Bill is a forty-year veteran of the entertainment industry. From the 1970's through the 90's he worked as a studio musician, staff songwriter, record producer and jingle writer. His songs and productions hit the charts several times, his jingles earned many awards including a CLIO and his songs have been covered by the likes of Buster Poindexter and The Tubes. Most recently a record he’d produced, I Love Doing Texas With You, was included in the soundtrack of the film, Brokeback Mountain. These days, Bill writes and produces live industrials and video for corporate events. No, that's not a Red Sox hat.
