Every year, the township governing body accepts applications for volunteer appointments to various boards and committees in town. The deadline is Dec. 31. The Township Committee Reorganization meeting will be held on Jan. 2, 6:30 p.m. at Town Hall. The five elected members will elect the mayor from among themselves. Mayor and Township Committee make new appointments for coming year
As part of the annual reorganization of the Township Committee January 3, a number of professional and volunteer appointments were made. Most of the appointments were for one-year terms, while others were for multi-year terms. Changes this year include no appointments to the Board of Health, since the township's move to the county Board of Health system.
