Update, 11 p.m.: Middletown Man Charged with Attempted Murder in Bed Bath & Beyond Stabbing --- A woman suffered significant blood loss after she was allegedly stabbed more than a dozen times in the back and other parts of her body by a man at Bed Bath & Beyond around 4 p.m. today. The woman's identity was not released, but she was said to be in her 30s and shopping inside the store with her small child when she was attacked. Middletown Township First Aid and MONOC medics transported the woman to Thorne Middle School, where she was taken by Northstar medevac to Jersey Shore University Medical Center, according to Assistant Middletown First Aid spokesperson Beth Edwards.
