A Highlands woman is facing several drug-related charges after she failed to pass a forged prescription at the Hazlet Pharmacy on April 25. Police say Fiona Gallagher, 21, stole blank prescriptions from a medical office and then conspired with another to forge the prescription for the anti-anxiety medication. She was allegedly in possession of (6) one milligram pills of Xanax and one suboxone pill, according to the complaint warrant filed by the arresting officer. Gallagher was charged with theft, forgery, conspiracy and two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, all in the third degree. He faces three third degree charges.
A Keansburg man was charged with allegedly forging a check in Hazlet, according to court documents. Police say Wayne Carhart, Jr., 33, forged a $2,000 check and presented it to a person in Hazlet on Jan. 14, 2013 knowing that it would not be honored. Carhart, Jr. is charged with forgery, presenting a bad check and theft by deception. All are third degree crimes. Bail was set at $2,500. A charge does not indicate a conviction and all those charged are innocent until proven guilty.

Freehold Township Police arrested a Colts Neck man and charged him with stealing, forgery, and fraud, following multiple summer incidents. Robert Hanna, 44, faces a total of eight charges after he allegedly stole prescription blanks from the Freehold Borough CVS and Little Silver Walgreens and used the stolen scripts to obtain prescription drugs. According to Hanna’s complaint warrant, on June 18, July 23, and Sept. 25, Hanna forged the stolen prescription blanks from the Freehold Borough CVS and used them to obtain Adderall. Investigators say she took over $1,500 in bank funds
A Monmouth County grand jury voted Tuesday to indict a Matawan woman on forgery and theft charges. Investigators say that Bianca Dennis, 23, forged bank withdrawal slips and checks under someone else's name, removing a total of $1,615 from the victim's account. The alleged crime took place between Dec. 9, 2011 and Dec. 28, 2011 in Holmdel, Hazlet and Middletown, according to investigators. She was indicted on charges of third degree forgery, third degree uttering a forged instrument, and third degree theft of movable property. An indictment does not indicate a conviction, only that formal charges may be brought against the individuals named in the charges.
