Emil Peter Dochych, Longtime Holmdel Resident, Dies at 84
Dochych lived in Holmdel for 45 years.
Emil Peter Dochych, 84, passed away on Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at Specialty Hospital at Monmouth Medical Center. Born in Scranton, Pa., Emil became a resident of Elizabeth, N.J., during his teenage years, and shortly after marriage moved to Holmdel, N.J., where he resided for the past 45 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean cccupation. Emil earned his bachelor of science degree in accounting from St. Peter's University in Jersey City, N.J. He worked as a purchasing agent for various companies, including IFF, Braun Chemical, M&T Chemicals, and New Jersey Bell, and earned a certification as a certified purchasing manager.
