Cliffwood Beach Woman To Stand Trial in Identity Theft Case at Bayshore Hospital
Christine J. Pettorsson was formally charged by a grand jury Tuesday for allegedly presenting someone else's insurance information to pay for surgery.
The Cliffwood Beach woman who is accused of using using someone else's identification and insurance cards during a weeklong surgical stay at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel has been indicted by a grand jury in Freehold. The jury found that Christine J. Pettorsson, who lives on Shore Concourse in the Cliffwood Beach section of Aberdeen, should stand trial on charges brought by the Monmouth County Prosecutor of theft of service. (The grand jury does not determine guilt or innocence.) Her stay at Bayshore, between April 24-29, is estimated to have cost $22,151. Pettorsson was also charged with impersonation and identity theft.
