Christine DeAngelo, 87, of Hazlet, passed away, Thursday, September 20, 2012, at Laurel Bay Health Care, Keansburg. Born in Kerens, TX, she resided in Keyport, before moving to Hazlet 15 years ago. She was the Deputy Registrar of Vital Statistics for the Borough of Keyport for eight years; and former President of the Bayshore Community Hospital Auxiliary in the early 1980s. Chris was a homemaker, mother and grandmother, who loved to read and loved the Yankees. Chris was predeceased by her beloved husband, Albert DeAngelo; and her parents, Sam and Vera Cook Crowley.
