Carl J. Anselmi, Former Middletown Elks Leader, Dies at 71
Anselmi worked at Fort Monmouth and was active in the Elks club.
Carl J. Anselmi, 71, of Toms River, NJ, died on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at The Arbors Care Center in Toms River. He was born in New York City, NY and lived in Middletown from 1977 to 2006 prior to moving to Toms River. Carl worked as a Systems Programmer for NJ Transit, Newark for 15 years before his retirement. Prior to that he worked for the FBI at Ft. Monmouth until 1990. Carl was a member, and Past Exalted Ruler of the Middletown Elks, Post 2179. He was also Chairman of the Special Children's Committee at the Middletown Elks for many years.
