SJV Football Star of Manalapan Heads to UNH Next Year

Manalapan resident Anthony Pante, 18, is a senior wide receiver for the St. John Vianney Football team. Pante completed his senior football season with multiple school receiving records including 41 receptions and 1027 yards, according to his father Steve Pante. Next year, Pante will be joining the Division I Wildcats Football team at the University of New Hampshire. According to his father, Pante dreamed of playing at the Division I level since he played in pop-warner as a child. "He has been playing football almost since he could walk, and has a great passion for the game," Steve Pante said of his son.
